Auto Extra Balance

The Service allows the Subscribers to get Extra Balance (less service fee) automatically whenever their balances reached the threshold of 100 tenge or less.

The activation date is the date of the initial activation of mobile number, regardless of any subsequent renewal of activated number.Specified amounts of the service are available for this category of subscribers according to table. Subscriber chooses the required amount by the appropriate USSD-command.

Auto Extra Balance is a service whereby a subscriber is granted a right to use mobile services on a deferred-payment basis worth the amount of Extra Balance. The Extra Balance amount is reflected on the customer's mobile account.

Auto Extra Balance is a virtual amount credited to the customer's account without his/her paying real money which is equivalent to the value of the mobile services he/she is entitled to use during the term of validity of Auto Extra Balance. In case of termination of the Mobile Services Contract, any unpaid debt incurred under the Auto Extra Balance service must be repaid in full.

The amount of Extra Balance remains in effect within 5 days of crediting and may be used in respect of all services available for Kcell subscribers.

By activating the service, you agree that the amount of Auto Extra Balance will be deducted from your subsequent top-up amounts, irrespective of whether you used Auto Extra Balance or not.

When you subscribe to AutoPay, the Auto Extra Balance service will stop automatically.

The amount of Auto Extra Balance will be deducted from your subsequent top-up amounts. You will be notified of your debt repayment via SMS when you top up your account. The service fee is deducted from the amount of Auto Extra Balance provided to you.

If balance received under Auto Extra Balance service is not fully repaid within the next 5 days, access to communication services will be blocked until debt repayment.

Service avialible if:

  • mobile number was activated at least 3 months ago
  • the subscriber’s mobile account has been topped up at least once in the past 30 days
  • the subscriber has no unpaid Extra Balance debts

Extra Balance

If you unable to top up your balance, you may get 250, 350, 500, 750 or 1000 tenge (less service fee), depending on number activation period.

To avoid outgoing call blocking, please make sure your account is topped up within the next 5 days. The amount of Extra Balance is valid for 5 days of application and can be spent on all services available for Kcell subscribers. If balance received under Extra Balance service is not fully repaid within the next 5 days, access to communication services will be blocked until debt repayment.

You can use the Extra Balance service provided:

  • Your mobile number is registered on the physical person, with prepaid plan
  • Your mobile number was activated at least 3 months ago
  • A current subscriber balance makes from minus 150 tenge and above
  • You have no unpaid Extra Balance debt
  • You are not in roaming currently

Pay For Me

The Pay For Me service allows you to send a free of charge message to the desired Kcell or Activ subscriber requesting him/her to recharge your balance, regardless of whether you are roaming or have run out balance.

The service requires no activation, service is provided free of charge.

To ask the desired subscriber to recharge you balance dial: *131*desired subscribers number#OK. You will receive a USSD message confirming that your request has been sent out: «You request has been accepted».

The number can be entered in either national or international format. For instance: *131*8ХХХХХХХХХХ# or *131*+7ХХХХХХХХХХ#

To avoid spam, the number of call me requests is limited to 5 requests per day and to 30 requests per calendar month.

The desired subscriber will receive a SMS sent on your behalf saying «Subscriber ХХХХХХХХХХХ asks you to recharge his/her mobile account».

Mobile Help

Ran out of balance but have no time to recharge your account? Ask a friend to send you balance or help him/her with our Mobile Help service.

Mobile Help is a value added mobile service whereby any Kcell customer (requestor) can request balance from another Kcell customer (sender).

Activation

To transfer balance:

  • Dial *143#OK 〉Enter the number of the customer requesting a balance transfer 〉Enter the amount of balance to be transferred — 50 to 2000 tenge, including service fee
  • Wait for a SMS confirming balance transfer

To request balance from a Kcell customer:

  • Dial *141#OK 〉Enter the number of the customer you want to request balance from 〉Enter the amount of balance to be transferred — 50 to 2000 tenge, including service fee
  • Wait for a SMS containing the confirmation of balance transfer and balance info

To transfer balance upon request:

  • Wait for a SMS containing a balance transfer request 〉Dial *142#OK, to access the balance transfer system and view requestor’s mobile number and amount of balance requested 〉Accept or reject the balance transfer request
  • Wait for a SMS containing the confirmation of balance transfer and balance info

Service is available to all prepaid Kcell numbers registered to physical persons.

To transfer balance, the sender must have at least 50 tenge worth of balance in his/her mobile account, which can be transferred in full.

Balance request from requesting customer is valid for 24 hours after the SMS-request has been sent out. No more than 10 requests can be sent during one day.

To disable the Service (in which case, the customer will not be receiving balance transfer requests and will not be able to transfer / request balance to/from other customers), customers should dial *140# and then press “1”. To turn the Service on again, customers should dial *140# and then press “1”. There is no charge to enable/disable the Service.

Service is also available to both the sender and recipient, while they are roaming.

Balance received under the Mobile Help service has unlimited validity period and can be used for all types of mobile services provided by Operator, subject to the terms and conditions of Public Mobile Communication Services Agreement.

The total balance that can be transferred in 30 days may not exceed 150 000 tenge.

Collect Call

If you run out of balance and you need to make an urgent call, use our Collect Call service. With this service, your call will be paid by the called party at the 15 tenge per minute rate, irrespective of the price plan he/she is on.

Calling party

Dial 000 before the called party's number, like in:

  • 00077ХХХХХХХХХ
  • 00087ХХХХХХХХХ

Say your name so that the called party is able to identify you. If the called party agrees to accept and pay for your call, connection will be set up.

Use any of the dialing patterns below:

  • *133*77XXXXXXXXX#OK
  • *133*87ХХХХХХХХХ#OK

In this case you will receive a callback from +000 number. Please, answer and follow the voice prompts.

Called party

When you receive a collect call, please listen to the notification message, then press 1 - if you agree to be charged for it, or 2 - if you don't. From the notification message you will find out the caller's name (if it was provided).

If you do not wish to receive collect calls from some of your contacts or want to receive them from your friends only, you can create Black List or White List.

Black List

If the contact's number is on your Black List, you will stop receiving collect calls from him/her.

  • To add a number to your Black List, send a SMS to 1331 containing: 11 (space) 77XXXXXXXXX or 11 (space) 87XXXXXXXXX (e.g. 11 8701xxxxxxx)
  • To remove a number from your Black List, send a SMS to 1331 containing: 12 (space) 77XXXXXXXXX or 12 (space) 87XXXXXXXXX (e.g. 12 8701xxxxxxx)
  • To view blacklisted numbers, text 13 to 1331

White List

If the contact's number is on your WhiteList, you will receive collect calls from this contact only.

  • To add a number to your WhiteList, send a SMS to 1331 containing: 21 (space) 77XXXXXXXXX or 21 (space) 87XXXXXXXXX (e.g. 21 8701xxxxxxx)
  • To remove a number from your WhiteList, send a SMS to 1331 containing: 22 (space) 77XXXXXXXXX or 22 (space) 87XXXXXXXXX (e.g. 8701xxxxxxx)
  • To view whitelisted numbers, text 23 to 1331

You can use any one list (White or Black) at a time. If your White List is active and it is empty, you will not receive collect calls. In order to start receiving collect calls, you need to activate your Black list and empty it if necessary.

To activate the Black or White List, send a SMS to 1331, containing:

  • «1» – to activate Black List
  • «2» – to activate White List

If you add a number, which is already on your White or Black List, to your Friends List, you will be receiving collect calls from such contact without notification.

Special option "Friends"

The service has also a special option - 'Friends' - which allows you to create the list of contacts from which you would like to receive collect calls without notification.

  • To add a number, send a SMS to 1331 containing: 31 (space) 77XXXXXXXXX or 31 (space) 87XXXXXXXXX (e.g. 31 8701xxxxxxx)
  • To remove a number, send a SMS to 1331 containing: 32 (space) 77XXXXXXXXX or 32 (space) 87XXXXXXXXX (e.g. 32 8701xxxxxxx)
  • To view numbers on your List, text 33 to 1331

The Friends option can be used with active Black or White list. Numbers added through this option prevail and have priority over those on Black and White lists.

  • Called party — 15 tenge per minute (billed in per-second increments)

The called party will be charged for the accepted collect call, even if he/she uses a service which comes with voice allowance.

Terms

Service is available to Kcell and activ® subscribers.

Service is valid for on-net connections only between activ/Kcell subscribers. If the caller is making a collect call with other mobile networks, the called party will receive a missed call notification.

Service will be temporarily suspended for those whose collect call requests were rejected 10 times during one hour or 30 times during one day.

Service is not available to roamers.

Service is available with both positive and negative balance, except when numbers is blocked.

Payment is deducted from the main account of the called subscriber, i.e. bonus voice minutes (bonus minutes, promo offers, service packages) are not valid.

Collect SMS

If you have run out of airtime and need to send a SMS urgently, use our Collect SMS service. With Collect SMS service, the 7 tenge charge for your text will be paid by its recipient, subject to his/her consent.

For sender

Dial 000 before the recipient’s number, e.g.:

  • 00077ХХХХХХХХХ
  • 00087ХХХХХХХХХ

For recipient

You got a Push USSD-request promoting you to accept a collect SMS. If the Push USSD session has expired before you gave consent, you will receive a SMS saying that “77ХХХХХХХХХ asks you to pay for this SMS – 7 tenge. Reply “1” to accept a collect SMS or “2” to reject it.

If you do not want to receive Collect SMS requests from some of your contacts or want to receive them from your friends only, use the Black and Friends lists.

If the sender’s number is on your Friends List, you will be receiving collect SMS requests from this contact without additional notifications.

Managing Friends/Black lists — free

Charge is fixed, regardless of the recipient’s tariff, SMS bonus, activated SMS Pack or text length.

Terms

Service is available to Kcell and activ® subscribers.

Service is not available to the subscribers of other mobile networks. Collect SMS can be sent to one recipient — Kcell, activ® — at a time.

Service is not available while roaming.

Service can be used when the sender has insufficient/runs out of balance and the recipient has enough balance to cover the SMS charge.

Number of collect SMS is limited to 70 per day.

Access to service will be temporarily suspended for one hour/day for senders whose collect SMS-requests have been rejected/left unconfirmed by the recipient 5 times during one hour or 20 times during the day.

7 tenge will be deducted from the recipient’s main balance, provided the recipient has sufficient account balance (prepaid customer) or credit limit (postpaid customer). Due to specifics of еру billing system operation, there may be delays in charging Kcell customers the service fee.

Call Me

The Call Me service allows the subscriber who has run out of balance or is in roaming to send a free of charge message to the desired Kcell or activ® subscriber requesting to be called by a second party.

To send a «call me» request, dial:

  • *130*desired subscribers number#OK

You will receive a USSD message confirming that your request has been sent out: «You request has been accepted». The number can be entered in either national or international format. For instance: *130*8ХХХХХХХХХХ#OK or *130*+7ХХХХХХХХХХ#OK.

The desired subscriber will be sent a SMS containing your callback request.

The Call Me service is provided free of charge.

To avoid spam, the number of call me requests is limited to 5 requests per day and to 30 requests per calendar month.

The desired subscriber will receive a SMS sent on your behalf saying «Subscriber ХХХХХХХХХХХ wants you to call him/her back».
